Life. Interlacing actions, memories and feelings. Stories and events entangled in past, present and future.
In the close-up, a structure is just a suspenseful complex of elements seemingly unrelated and tempting us to look inside.
As human beings we tend to anatomize, examine and deconstruct to understand the complexity of things and ourselves and to control them. The need to pull the strings, to array and to structure lies in our nature.
Only by observing from a distance we can comprehend the sense of the combination, the intersection and the fusion of elements. Through taking a step back we can understand the merge and the relation.
Antonella Anselmo, Julian Palacz, Simona Reisch, Wolfgang Pavlik and Anselm Pavlik set each through a personal system, links and entanglement in the focus of their work. All five artist weave a fabric, thus forming their own Trāma(e)…
